Okay, still not quite back to normal.. But at least my suitcase finally made it home today. (Did it *walk* from London?) And work is going pretty well.. The day before I left, I made a book cover for a lady who's self-publishing a book of her sermons in several countries.. and she liked my design so much, she had my boss make her a business card out of it, too. The best part of it, I think, is that when I'd started working on the job, my boss told me what a horrid old lady she was.. and I didn't have any problems with her at all!
Anyway. For your enjoyment: FMA on AIM
Now I have to get to work on these commissions before I lose all credibility whatsoever as a "professional".
Oh! Also for your enjoyment - found in a shop in Lyon, France (proof that they're not all bad): quelle surprise!
And *inside* the shop.. voila!
(And a close-up, with a little editing in hopes of clarification): encore!

I'm back. The plane came in at 5:30 but we spent, like, an hour and a half dealing with luggage (mine and dad's were left in London and will arrive tomorrow night), and then the kids were waiting for us but our ride had to leave, so they left our van in the parking lot a shuttle ride away and it took forever for my dad to find it and bring it back to us.. And then nobody heard my 12-yr-old brother say that he was going to the bathroom, so we forgot him and had to go back to the airport to pick the poor kid up..
But now I'm finally home and I can finally FINALLY get some sleep. Stupid time change.. I got up about 8 this morning and now it's approximately 4:30 a.m. in London and I've been up for 19.5 hours....
Uhhhhhghhhghhhh.
Will post about the trip later, but my journal writing sort of broke down after the first week because I was too exhausted each day to keep it up. But don't worry, I'll still fill in the rest.

I'm writing this from France! It's been a crazy, amazing trip so far, but I don't have time to tell you about it today. (By the way, it's 9 pm here, Tuesday.)
And also by the way, the keyboards here are messed up! I thought Germany's was bad, but France's is even worse. Par example:
Here is q sentence iù, zriting using the keys I zould usuqlly type zith on qn Q,ericqn keyboqrd: You see hoz ,qny of the keys qre different§ Crqwy11 Qnd thqtùs not qll of the,:: just the ones in the sentences iù, typing right noz:
I'm taking pictures, and using my French, and keeping a journal so I'll know what to say about the trip when I get back.
Tomorrow we're leaving France to drive to Salzburg to see the salt mines!

Well, kids, I guess this is it! In half an hour I'll be on my way to the airport.
My brother's bringing his PSP, which has wi-fi capabilities (though he says it's a beast to type on).. And my mom mentioned something about finding an internet cafe (she was explaining to my little brother that he could email us if he misses us), so it's POSSIBLE that you'll hear from me while I'm gone.
Revanche peeps~ Lee no karada o yoroshiku ne? ^^; (And particularly, protect me from Kabuto, please?)
I love you all!
