I dreamed last night that my mom had my novel published for Christmas. Even in my dream I thought, "Wait, I'm not done writing it yet!" (I don't know which one it was, though.)
Also, it had a different (gorgeous) cover illustration each time you turned the book over. I think we should look into that - it was amazing!

Anybody need friends for Thanskgiving Dinner?
phoenix_melody and I are staying in town, and any of you are welcome to join us. My house, next Thursday. (Fi says I'm in charge cuz it's at my house, so I'm coordinating.)
So post here if you'll be in town/coming, and let me know what you'll be bringing!
I need a food icon.
PS~ If you have a dream in which people keep asking you, "How do you ID a missing body?" you should let them know that their reasoning is wacky.
Also, if anybody's interested, the CW is marathoning "Vampire Diaries" December 14th through 18th (2 eps a day).

So last night we watched the SPN episode "Ghostfacers", and then I dreamed that I went to an anime/comic book store (which also carried a bunch of fantasy stuff, like cloaks from LotR) to look for Ghostfacers t-shirts and other swag. Random. (I think I found some, too.)
And now that I know who they are, I remembered that at Comic-Con the Ghostfacers introduced the S5 clip (via video), and everyone was excited to see them. I, of course, didn't get it. But I do now!
Still enjoying this show!! I need some SPN icons, but I can't go looking for them because I'll get spoiled. :( But moments like "I'm Batman" and "I lost my shoe" (that episode was freaking hilarious) and something Ghostfacers, maybe.. would be way fun, and definitely need icons.

Quotes for today:
Coming home from very lonely places, all of us go a little mad: whether from great personal success, or just an all-night drive, we are the sole survivors of a world no one else has ever seen.

If all the world's a stage, I want to operate the trap door.

I subscribed to Marvel Digital Comics sometime last fall when I was feeling rich, and each week or so they send me an update on comics that are newly available. I mostly don't keep up with it, and I don't read a lot of comics, but sometimes I come across fun ones. The X-Men Fairy Tales were pretty amusing (I liked issues 1 and 4 particularly). I ended up buying Joss Whedon's run of Astonishing X-Men after sampling them on the website. (They didn't have all of the issues available there, and I needed to know what happened next..)
Anyway, one title I've been reading the last few days is Ms. Marvel. (I got into it because I heard that Rogue made a guest appearance, and I've always been intrigued by Ms. Marvel via her history with Rogue. The Rogue arc turned out to be kind of dumb, sadly.) Most of the art so far is by Roberto de la Torre, and is only okay.. sometimes I really like it, and sometimes his people look like monkeys. That "How to Draw Unique Characters" tutorial I found recently has a good point - if the characters in comic books didn't have colors and costumes to differentiate them by, we honestly wouldn't be able to tell them apart - this art generally falls in there. But it's interesting to follow a character who's not a mutant, or tied down to a team (currently), and see what adventures she gets into (though I'm not really interested in some of her foes - especially aliens), and who joins her in them (Wonder Man, Iron Man, Captain America, Spider Woman, Arachne (formerly also Spider Woman), etc).
Anyway, I read a few issues before bed last night, and I ended up dreaming about it. Part of the time I had Ms. Marvel's powers, and my mom asked me to pick up my little sister from school (my little sister is now 19 and in college, btw), and I was like, "Cool, here's a window; I'll just fly over there." And part of the time I wasn't actually the hero, I was drawing the heroes. I had a script from some official comic writer girl, and I was excited to have the chance to pencil a real comic book. I woke up wondering if I should make an effort to find work as a penciller. (And then I remember the kind of pencilling work I see artists like Mark Brooks do, and I remember I have a long way to go. ^^;; But maybe someday. Gaah, my figure drawing shoots me in the foot again!!)
But I also worked on Muse some last night.. I'm trying to alter my character designs to be more distinctive and less "same face, different hair/color". So don't worry - it's still moving forward. Slowly.

I just dreamed the rest of the story of Phoenix Requiem.
Anya and Jonas got married, but he didn't stop being strange and dangerously mysterious. People kept dying. He disappeared and Anya, along with a bunch of house servants (a couple of maids, a butler, a cook, you know), went on a wild goose chase to decipher clues and stuff to figure out where he went and what was happening.
There were some superheroes as well, trying to figure out this tragic affair, and two of them were captured along with Anya. She was distracted looking for Jonas, but one of the superheroes, through an unmasking incident, discovered the identity of the other (they were from opposing teams) - but it was okay, because they were both involved in Anya's mystery.
Then Anya ran off, and one of the superheroes made as if to go after her, but the other said, "Let it go. You don't have a chance with her. Do you know why? That's her husband." And they looked up and saw a grisly, ghastly zombified Jonas on the ceiling.
This goes to show you, folks, that zombies, superheroes, and Phoenix Requiem are not an appropriate cocktail for bedtime.

Wow, I just had a really odd dream that I had to write down before it faded completely..
The part I remember (there was much before this) started with me practicing singing "Colors of the Wind." It was nighttime. I was pretty much just singing, but I was with another person, who was the ruler of the fairies. We were together. I was comfortable there, but I had to go home.
There was a lake between where I was (fairyland, I guess) and where my apartment was, and to get home, my fairy friend and I sort of waded into the lake and just.. went across. When I was with this fellow, things were smooth and sort of dreamlike (hehe), and I wasn't really clear-headed.
He left me at the lake, and as I walked home, I crossed paths with my roommate (who was very similar to Ti/Fi/Ci's old roommate Becca) several times. She was also singing "Colors of the Wind," and it startled me, but since I was in a daze, I just kept singing anyway. When we both arrived at home, she told me "It's okay [about the song] - I just don't want *everybody* to sing it better than me." We were apparently practicing for a ward talent show. But the way she said "everybody" made it abundantly clear that she meant "nobody" would sing it better, especially me. I was rather irritated, and thought differently. But, Nine that I am, I came up with a solution - "I'll recite some Welsh poetry instead!"
I went into my room to try to find a book of Welsh poetry, and saw a big planter (like a horse trough, really) full of plants, and several other potted plants scattered around, that I'd put there earlier. I'd forgotten about them, and was just feeling pleased and peaceful about them there, when I saw that I'd forgotten I'd spilled a bunch of dirt on the floor and hadn't cleaned it up, and now there were a bunch of bugs crawling around on my carpet.
I panicked and went to find the vacuum, and then my alarm went off and woke me up.

Much of note has been done today, despite not having much actual work to do. I gave some criticism to my (bulldozer) coworker and it seems to have been taken well. I took an hour and a half lunch with other coworkers. I donated two thousand grains of rice to help end hunger. (What's really fun is when you're given "obscure" words like things you'd see in scripture, like "raiment", and you don't even blink when you choose the answer. Other fun words include "cerise" ("cherry" in French - the answer was "red") and "carmine" (again, meaning "red" - but this success thanks to my Prismacolors, "immolate" (thanks to my warlock) - which means "destroy in sacrifice" - hehe, and "excoriate" (which reminded me of Ti).. And I love it when I get the answers right not because I've heard of the word before, but because I can dissect the word into pieces and their meanings. What do you guys call that, Ti? Parsing?)
Oh yeah, and I sent an email to that Revan cosplayer... ^^; We'll see if he responds. Or if it's even him. Eheh...
On a less hopeful note, we got a memo today on the revised dress code. No t-shirts except on Fridays. There goes 80% of my wardrobe.. I swear, this merger is more frustration than benefit. Grrr... And we haven't even moved office to Spanish Fork yet! (So technically I don't suppose they'd *know* if I wore T-shirts to work....)
Also, I told my boss's husband (another coworker) about a dream I had last night, where I showed up at their house (my boss works from home cuz she has small kids, and sometimes we go there for training and stuff) on New Year's Day ready to work, and not realizing that it was a holiday, but my boss took pity on me and let me spend the day watching movies with her and her family. There was the distinct impression that I had nowhere else to spend the holiday. It was pretty weird. (My boss's husband thought it was hilarious - sad, but hilarious - and said that that was cool - they wouldn't mind. ^^;)

On Friday I talked to some of you more about my superhero comic.. Well, I was thinking about it this morning, and came up with a fun scene to start it out.. I'm trying to write it out before I forget.
Anyway, I need your help! My hero needs a day job.
I've got some ideas, but I'd like to see if you guys can come up with something better. My stipulations are that it needs to be something that he wouldn't be fired from, for being (ir)regularly absent (as superheroes are wont to do), and I'd like it to be very NORMAL. Almost blase, maybe. And if it were to be somehow (coincidentally) helpful to his hero work, that would give me another layer to the story.
So please comment and give me some ideas! The setting is, at this point, Big City, like most superhero comics, and the Hero lives in the apartment next door to the protagonist Girl.
Also, I mentioned doing two different styles, to differentiate between the "real" story and the Girl's "comic" story - I'm thinking I may do DLD/comic-style for the comic, and a more painterly style (like, no outlines, perhaps) for the regular parts. What do you think? It would be harder for me, but I'd sure get better at painting, and that would surely be good for DLD. Maybe I could work out a compromise of production schedule - one page DLD and one scene (3-5 maybe?) of Muse per week. I'd get a good backlog of Muse going before I start posting it, of course, so I could work up to the pace... And after planning out the entire Muse story, I imagine it'll be easier for me to plan out DLD as well. Anyway, I'm just thinking out loud.
Also also, Red Seas under Red Skies came last night, yay! I spent a little while reading it, and then dreamed about Locke Lamora and Mistborn and Brandon Sanderson. (I have no idea where they came from.)

So this entry is really about Video Games Live. It's going to be in SLC March 28-29, 8PM, at Abravanel Hall. Cheapest tickets are $30, but there are also $40, $48, and $82 tickets (which I am definitely not paying for), depending on the seats. Also, you can only buy 6 tickets together at once, so keep that in mind.
Takers? It's way cool. I'm a little nervous about driving around SLC, but I've done it before, and I could do it again if I need to. Also, they have a costume contest before the show, so if you have a video game costume, it might be cool to wear it. ;) I'm debating. (Though admittedly, this was the event that spurred me to work hard on my Bastila costume last year, even though it didn't get done in time. Maybe I should find myself some lightsabers and do it this year..)

I should be getting ready for work, but I had a dream that was so strange and detailed that I wanted to write it down.
I dreamed that I was sort of roped into a community theater production of "Romeo and Juliet," and most of the people I was working with were the LTUE committee. And, somewhat like the LTUE committee, I felt like things had to move forward, and I with them, but I didn't really know what was going on at any point of it. I discovered that I was playing Romeo, but I didn't have time to learn my lines or even actually read the script, before showtime, so I ended up having to *improv* the whole thing to my lines, read by the narrator (who was the lady in charge of most things at LTUE). (And until showtime, my main concerns were that I didn't know if my sports bra was in the laundry, so I would look less girly, and that I couldn't seem to get clear directions to the church where we were performing.)
Anyway, I had to improv the entire time, and I did a fairly good job of it, just listening to the narration and acting accordingly, even though I was pretty nervous. I looked out into the audience and saw my mom videotaping the whole thing, and my uncle Phil, who lives in this area, was with her. At first my costume was a sort of skater shirt and khakis, but sometime through the play turned into more medieval-y gear, and was blue, and had a cape that I would swirl around. I was very surprised when Juliet appeared (it was
isauraoktobre, wearing her red and black Renaissance dress) and got to deliver her own lines.. Anyway, apparently Juliet was the daughter of a destitute nobleman, who'd come to secure a marriage to Romeo that would put gold in their coffers again. And then Lord Montague (who looked like the Montague from the RxJ anime) came with his guards to see that Romeo's bed was empty, for the several-th time, he was very displeased, and then my alarm went off, and I woke up afraid that Romeo and Juliet would be caught..
So.. Weird. But Isaura and I had been discussing Romeo and Juliet a little last night, in a conversation about writing (writing my character Gray, particularly) and humans and logic in relationships. *shrug*

The weekend:
Marathoning "Ghost Hunt" (to be finished perhaps tonight-ish) and "Romeo x Juliet" with
isauraoktobre and
phoenix_melody, fabric shopping with Isaura and
pudges. DR time: 30 minutes, maybe?
Thoughts:
RxJ was stinking cute!!!!! I adored the characters, the music, the whole story (except for that pesky science fiction end-of-the-world twist that always tends to show up in anime).. I can't express how intensely I hoped that it would end with R&J alive and happy ever after, but even so.. I've been telling people that I generally don't buy anime - haven't for many years - but this series I WANT. (Also, the opening theme makes me laugh every time, even though I've now got it mostly memorized from singing along.)
Ghost Hunt is also very cute, when it's not creepy. You all should know, ghosts are my #1 irrational fear, and there are some parts that I've had trouble with. By and large, though, it's pretty cool. I like that it's mystery, not just stupid horror. And the main character is cute and lovable instead of annoying! Yay for non-annoying schoolgirl characters!! Also, I want a Bou-san for my own. ^_________^
The new impromptu sewing project:
Fitted, long brocade vest for my costume for the LTUE pirate banquet. It's going over a button-up white shirt with ruffly, lacy cuffs, and under my fabulous black velvet cavalry coat from Newport News. I'm still contemplating skirt or leggings for the lower half, plus my black knee boots and my red and gold stripey scarf. Vest must be done by Thursday when the symposium starts, because my dad will be in town and I'll be busy.
Also, I bought a hat. (After spending two hours yesterday searching through pirate/musketeer/cavalier hats, ugh..) This is what I wanted (top hat or bottom hat). This is what I decided to get, in black, with black and white feathers. I also considered one of these, which is what I think
thesassywench has from the Ren Faire (too bad I can't go down to AZ and buy one, and be back in time for the banquet), but decided that the other would be more versatile. It's already been shipped, so hopefully it will get here by Saturday, but if it doesn't I may have to go hatless, or rent one from Taylor-Maid or something.
The weird dream last night:
It was night. I had a job assignment that included something like an assassination, and I was nervously traveling to some hotel to perform it, while poring over my encrypted instructions (which looked strangely like the kind of Corel Draw file that I do at work for real). Then
chibidrunksanzo came up next to me (did I mention that I think we were flying on brooms?) and I asked her for her interpretation on a particular section. "I dunno," she said, then turned to
dqbunny, who'd come up on my other side, and asked, "What do you think?" She moved closer to take a look, and I realized with a shock of nerves and irritation that she was one of my potential targets, so I moved the screen away from her and said, "No thanks, I've got it."

pixiepilot's apartment key in order to pick up a couple of items that needed to go home with
chibidrunksanzo's brother, then picked him up, picked up Isaura, had to detour to my office to get my computer (which I was a moron and forgot to take with me), retrieved the items from Pix & Sanzo's place, and finally got on the road at 3:00. It being the afternoon of the Friday before Christmas, and because it snowed last night, I expected the drive to be kind of hectic, but we did surprisingly well until about two miles before our exit to change freeways, where there happened to be an accident that closed off the right two lanes. These two miles took us at least half an hour, cutting a tight trip into a *really* stressful one..
Fortunately, Isaura made her plane successfully, and I assume that Sanzo's brother would have called her if he'd missed his flight.
Regardless, I decided that I deserved a prize, so I treated myself to Taco Bell (which, amazingly, had all their ingredients and didn't take an hour!!), and now I'm debating whether to write Fantasy Fair or play WoW.. Maybe some of both.
Also, work was crazy enough that I didn't get a chance to post about the weird dream I had last night. There was some traveling going on, though I don't recall the method or the destination, but Draco Malfoy was standing near me. He was about 13, and his hair was long like his father's (though prettier.. more like Legolas' hair). Also, he was hitting on me. I, being mildly irritated at his attentions, but recognizing some danger in upsetting him (and recognizing that his mother was standing right behind us, chatting with some other woman), stayed politely noncommittal. It was a very strange feeling. But I remember being slightly stunned and saying, "I like your hair short, but it's really beautiful when it's long." (!??) And when I looked closely, it seemed that only the top layer of his hair was blond, and underneath it was quite dark. (
phoenix_melody, I think that was your fault.)
Also also, my family is driving up right now! But they started after my sister got out of cheer practice, so I'll be happily asleep by the time they roll into town. But I'll see them in the morning when we go to my cousin's wedding. (Yay! for caravaning home!)

Faerie003: I didn't get to play WoW much last night. ;_;
SanzoHoushi: I'm sorry. ;_;
Faerie003: Instead I spent 4 hours writing a scene that ended up only 3.5 pages long.
SanzoHoushi: I think there's really only one option.
Faerie003: What's that?
SanzoHoushi: I know it will be a sacrifice, but I think we'll just have to all rent a house together.
So yes. After all my ranting about WoW, I played it for a grand half hour or so. (Fi, you'll be happy - you were not replaced by WoW after all, but, indeed, by writing.) I worked on a scene of Fantasy Fair for
caer_awen that I started on the first of this month's prompts, a scene that's one of the most important scenes in the entire history of my world, a scene that had me shaking while I was trying to channel it. It was intense. And then I played WoW for half an hour and went to bed from exhaustion. And the scene is only half done (though the intense part is mostly over).. (And I must admit, it kills me that 1600 words took me four whole hours to write..!! DX)
I had a dream last night that as soon as I stopped working at the Digital Lab (my last job in school) I was working at Blizzard. But in my dream, I didn't know what I was hired to do, and the atmosphere at Blizzard was akin to how I imagine a newspaper feels (Is newspaper like in the movies,
dqbunny?): everything was crazy busy and there seemed to be no sense in organization. There was nobody to tell me what I was supposed to be doing, but because it was Blizzard and I wanted to stay there, I fought to make myself invaluable by finding things to do, particularly inventing ways for things to run more smoothly and improving the atmosphere. To some frazzled and unhappy workers, I assured them, "We're fun people. We make video games - of course we're fun people!" and they felt better about their job. And when I was about to wake up, I wondered if this was a job at which I would be allowed to play WoW.
I suppose it stems partly from playing WoW before bed, but also apparently it delved into some anxieties I have with work right now. Nothing to worry about, but we're undergoing some changes and new projects, and we're trying to get a feel for what needs to be done and who does it, so of course there's some unrest. I'm not really concerned (Really the only tense part is figuring out what stage we'll be at when I need to go home for Christmas, and what I'll be able to do from home), but apparently I'm concerned enough for it to show up in my dreams.
Lastly, here's a video linked from Say No to Crack:

Aadon G. says: so, how are you doing today?
Brittany says: Good. I've got some stuff to work on, and I sleept good last night..
Brittany says: Actually, I had this weird dream....
Aadon G. says: oh?
Brittany says: I was a vampire or something - I had special powers, but not everybody knew about it. But in the first part I remember I was in my teens, I think, and it was snowing, and I gouged a line across my leg with a shovel, accidentally.. I was flinging around or something.
Brittany says: And I had hit myself in the leg with the shovel before, so it wasn't a big deal, but my dad came out and was like, "Oh no! We have to take you to the doctor"
Brittany says: Oh, and I was wearing some sort of uniform, like Quistis, except that it had short-shorts, and black knee boots.
Brittany says: (..??)
Aadon G. says: how random is that/
Brittany says: But we went to the doctor, who was Carlisle from the Twilight books (mmmm.... Carlisle....), and he took off my boot and we looked at my leg, and I had several gouges, including one that had been stitched like Frankenstein. Huge, messy flesh-colored stitches.
Brittany says: And at this point I woke up a little and turned over, and it felt weird because then I was sleeping on that leg that had the stitches in it..
Aadon G. says: lol.
Brittany says: The other part I remember was better.. Me and a few other people who were special like me were in a house, and people who didn't like us seized the house and told us we were under arrest or something.
Brittany says: They confined us to two rooms, and took all our stuff and put it in another room, and we had to sneak around to get it back and get out and stuff, without them knowing.
Brittany says: There were some close calls, but it was fun.
Brittany says: Scary, but fun.

Brittany says: So, yeah. It was weirdness.

So last night I had a date with Batman.
Ohhh, I mean, I dreamed I had a date with Batman. Or rather, Bruce Wayne. It was a black-tie dinner/dance thing (or maybe it was white-tie?), and he bought me a fancy black ballgown to wear, in one of those girl-comes-home-to-find-dress-box-on-her-b ed type scenarios. And we went to the ball. The Joker was there somewhere, but we weren't too concerned about him. And Robin may have been there (which is interesting, because I usually prefer Robin over Batman.. huh.), along with other villains from various cartoons/comics/etc. And there were some French guys to whom I said, "I don't need French lessons, see?" I referred to my date as Bruce and Monsieur Wayne, and I didn't have any instructions (I don't think we talked much, actually), but I thought I should keep an eye out for villainous maneuvering, Because I knew he was Batman, and everybody else there knew he was Batman, but we all pretended otherwise. It was awesome. I knew I was somehow part of his plan, and that he'd make sure nothing happened to me, and now I feel special. And at the end, we won without him ever having to don the cape.

I just had a very weird dream that I knew I would forget if I didn't write it down *now*.
I dreamed that someone from the Leading Edge warned me that readers were trying to find my webcomic by looking at dreamlikedestiny.com and couldn't find the comic. I knew I didn't own dreamlikedestiny.com, so I looked it up and found that some teenage girl had bought the domain and filled it with a bunch of junk on stuff she liked. Ostensibly there was a link to DLD on it, but I couldn't find it.
I went to a grocery store and found two ladies sitting and talking(/eating?) at a table they'd moved into the foyer of the store (where you normally walk in and out and get your cart), and they told me they'd move the table back outside by the fence soon, and also where the girl could be found.
I next was at a historical fair-type thing and after some searching through masses of people, I think in costume, I found the girl. I asked her to give up the domain to lessen confusion, or at least to make a link to the comic easier to find so that my readers could follow it, and she got really mad at me and ran away.
I wandered around the fair and found a bunch of racks of shoes, so I started shoe-shopping, grabbing one shoe of this style and one shoe of that, holding them in my arms as I walked. After a while I looked at them - and at one particular shoe that was kind of a sandal, red leather, whose sole stopped before the heel. I decided this wasn't a good style, and also that it was a size 6 (I wear 11W or 12), so I put all the shoes back. Then I saw some people at picnic tables eating, and turned around to find tables of food potluck-style, so I grabbed a plate. Having already had dinner, I raided the dessert buffet, filling my plate with pumpkin pie, some other kind of pie, lots of other junk, and several different cookies, which were very very soft (for some reason I had to fold them in half to fit them on the plate) and all contained oats. And I helped myself to a box of Honeycomb.
...Yeah. And to think I'd have forgotten all that if I'd gotten ready for my day first. Maybe I'll edit and offer explanation when I get to work.

I just woke up from a very odd, yet somehow very convincing dream that my mother is secretly a popular and prolific fantasy author. Using a male nom de plume. And that everything I knew about where the money came from in my family was actually a lie. And that every time I thought my mom was gone working (she taught parenting classes at the hospital when I was very young - and I missed her terribly when she was gone), she was actually holed up writing.
In the dream one of my friends was fond of the author's books, and when I mentioned it to my mom one day she was abnormally interested in what my friend thought of the books. Somehow I figured it out. And then we all gathered around and had a family discussion, that felt kind of like the beginnings of an RPG campaign, and we asked questions. Mostly *I* asked questions. Like, why did she use a male pen name? Did her books sell better that way? And other things about her writing. And I asked about my dad's job (and for some reason he looked more like Chevy Chase or Will Ferrell than my dad), and he said that it was all a ruse - Mom really brought in all the money. I was pretty upset about it all, because I didn't understand why she didn't trust us (particularly *me*) with it, especially when it was exactly my sort of thing.
Reasons I know this can't be real: 1) My mom doesn't even like fantasy, unless it's something I write, in which case she makes exceptions. (She likes everything I write.) She doesn't even like most fantasy *movies*. 2) I know my dad has a job, because I worked at his company as an intern for four summers. I visited his office. I worked with people who worked with him and talked about him. I've seen him in the office Christmas party pictures. 3) I've spent lots of entire days with my mom (not while growing up, granted), and I know she spends her days playing taxi/maid/cook/etc., not playing secret-fantasy-author.
Still, it was an interesting dream. And I remembered all the nice things my mom says about my writing and how I should publish it, and I wondered hopefully.

I had this crazy dream last night.. I dreamed I was in the hospital, but it was the Provo Library, and I didn't know why I was there. And Moosebutter was doing hospital performances and they came to sing to me. Only they didn't really sing.. I remember Tim looking at my chart and calling me "Edith" (and I was thinking, "Is my name *really* Edith??"), and Weston opened up a drawer that was next to the hospital bed and told me that my sock collection was missing. And then
eillwony, who works at the library, came in and said that the Renaissance Festival was starting (she was in costume) and could they borrow my elf ears? I said I didn't know where they were, but sure, and she found them in one of the drawers around the room and left. Then I noticed that I had an IV and an oxygen bag thingy, but the stand didn't have wheels - it was flat on the bottom. So when Adi came back in and started wheeling my bed out of the room, I had to grab the oxygen thing and hold it over the bed. My alarm went off and woke me up as she was pushing me down the hall, so I never found out where we were going. :( (The End.)
I've had tons of weird dreams in my lifetime, but not much lately.. I guess last night I was just in a rare (exhausted) mindset, having had little sleep over the weekend due to my 25 hours or so (over 3 days) putting together this semester's ward directory. I'm very pleased with how it's turned out - I burned it to a CD and have to print out a copy this morning, which I think I'll do shortly, to be given to my council chair to copy. It's movie-centered; all the photos are on film strips, and there are movie quotes in the blank spaces (since my apt doesn't have a fourth roommate, we got one, and I put "Ah! Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!" from Firefly.. ^_^), and stuff. (And one girl in our ward was out of town, so for her picture I put a photo of Catharine Zeta-Jones. It's because people tell her they look alike.) I hope people like it.
But I'm sure glad to be done!!! Now I can get on to other stuff, like school and BFA, that I wish I had been able to do earlier.
Also! Last night Hayley and I got pupusas and watched "Pirates of the Caribbean". I had forgotten how much there is in that movie that I enjoyed; I hope as much care went into the second one.
Last thing!: An article with a reference to KotOR III!! Skip down to near the bottom..
